History of the Medical Academy goes back to the beginning of the 21st century: in 1918 it was medical faculty of Taurida University. In 1931 it separated and became an autonomous unit - Crimea Medical Institute.
Since 1995 the higher school has been named in honor of Sergey Ivanovich Georgievsky (rector of the institute in 1951-1970). In 1998 the higher school became a university with the 4th (highest) accreditation level. Throughout these years the medical school has been a center for academic and vocational medical education and medical science in the Crimea at the same time offering specialized consultation in the directions General Medicine and Pharmacy.
Today it is an up-to-date educational institution upgrading itself to keep abreast of global trends in medical education and research, developing its intellectual potential and providing top specialists for medical services. The Academy has always been striving for excellence in teaching and research.

A student with 12th Standard in Science or Equivalent Examination with a minimum of 50% Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and if the student belongs to reserved category, then a score of 40% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology is sufficient - as per MCI norms.
No Entrance Test required.
Curriculam is similar to the Indian pattern and the doctor will be awarded the MBBS degree at the end of the 6 years as compared to the 4 years MBBS in India. The student can get an internship to study Russia or in India.
Applications along with the required documents of the education will be sent to the college and once the admission letter is received with a Visa invitation letter. Complete assistance will be provided by Imperial for the visa application procedure.
Fee of Crimea Federal Medical University
50 USD per year. After arrival to Russia students one-side visa will be prolonged for one year with multi entry and a resident registration for one year will be issued.
100 USD per month approximately. Canteens available in University campus. Self-cooking allowed in hostels. Hand expenditure depends upon candidates.
None of any other expenditures like Books (will be issued by University), Entrance Fee, Examination Fee, Lab charge, Practical fee and etc.
4250 USD per year. Non changable. Directly paid by students in Bank. First year candidate must pay full payment, from2nd year onwards fee can be paid semester wise.
600 USD per year. Non Changable. Directly paid in Bank. Can be paid semester wise. Refundable incase of candidate staying in flat.
150 USD per year. Non changable. Non refundable. Full med-claim service incase of therapeutical diseases.
